Sandy Claus?

Santa is one of the world's busy guys, and needs lots of help to get to December 26th and his well-deserved rest.  In Denver, one of Santa's best "roadies" is Sandy Sanden.

Better known the first 11 months of the year as Robert V. (Sandy) Sanden, Jr.,  Sandy was born in Wichita but was raised in the Chicago area.  He moved west in the mid 1970s, first to Montana, where he went to work for AT&T.   After a few years he transferred to Tucson and in 1986 moved to Denver with USWest.   He's been a telephone operator, a service rep, and an operations tech, and is now a central office tech for Qwest.

But he didn't find his true calling until after the acquisition of grandchildren (11 + two of them!) by marrying his incredibly beautiful, wonderful and fantastic wife, Georgia.  He discovered he was the perfect Santa Claus sub.

We should also mention Sandy's new great loves, his English Bulldogs! With these furry kids nothing will ever be the same..... Unfortunately, his beautiful Sarah died this year, so he got a new puppy, Reba. She's so cute, ya gotta love her!

This is the tenth (or eleventh?) year Sandy has been a stand-in for Santa, and he has never had a dissatisfied customer.  Check him out with the world's great real estate guy -- in Sandy's opinion at least -- Jace Glick!  (see below) and one of Denver's prettiest and most fun photographers, Jean Banovich of Jean's Photo Scene, 303-646-9081.
